Warwickshire were unchanged for their final Midlands,West and Wales Twenty20 group game and for the first time in these group matches, Warwickshire bowled first.
Neil Carter and Jimmy Anyon opened the bowling for the Bears restricting the Royals to 5-0 after two overs.
Graham Hick hit a four and a six in an innings of fifteen before being caught in the slips off the bowling off Jimmy Anyon with the score on twenty tow. However, the run rate was slow and Warwicks went down to a defeat by thirteen runs with their score on 130-8.
