Warwicks Beaten By Durham

Warwickshire County Cricket Club went down to a nine wicket defeat against Durham.

The Bears resumed on 256-1 but after Iain Westwood was our for 116 and Sangakkara was out for 119,wickets steadily fell. Alex Loudon,Jimmy Anyon and Lee Daggett all made scores of twenty four plus, but three wickets fell in the space of two runs and Warwicks were all out for 426.

Durham needed 193 to win off 32 overs. Di Venuto made 91 with Mustard making 76 before he was bowled by Anyon to give Durham a win by nine wickets.

Meanwhile, Warwickshire will not be renewing the contract of Neil Carter. The 32 year old all rounder has been at Edgbaston for seven years but this season has not been able to command a regular place.
