Coventry Bees and Peterborough Panthers speedway teams have announced on their respective websites that they will make a statement on Tuesday morning, concerning the 2011 season.
Both clubs had meetings with the British Speedway Promoters Association on Thursday at which the rest of the Elite League clubs attended.
Both clubs have the support of league sponsors Sky Sports but the vote was too close to call and supporters will now have to wait until Tuesday to find out if the Bees and Panthers will take their rightful place in the Elite League which is due to start later this month.
