Trust Us On Players - Noon

Nuneaton Town Assistant Manager Mark Noon has urged the Nuneaton support to trust himself and manager Brian Reid to bring in the players.

Speaking to Nuneaton's website, Noon said: "Tamworth have got themselves a couple of good players there and we wish them the best.

"They have picked up a few ex-Nuneaton players now and they are all good Conference players.

"They all played well while they were here and I am sure they will continue to do well now they have moved on.

"But, that is that now, we are working hard to ensure we have a good squad of our own next season.

"There is a lot of work going on behind the scenes at the club and both myself and Brian are in contact regarding players.

"We have got 10 or so already signed up on the books and we are looking at a number of other targets.

"This is a difficult time of the season, though, as you do not want to rush into things. You have to be patient.

"We have a budget and we have to stick to that. "Look at teams such as Hereford and Salisbury. That is a great example at what can happen if you do not stick to what you can afford.

"We all want success and players to be signed early. But, that cannot always happen, sometimes you have to put the club first and be patient and see what happens."
