Trott Ton Puts England In The Driving Seat

Warwickshire batsman Jon Trott made 119 for England to put them in a commanding position in the final Ashes match.

Trott resumed for England on eight not out and hit eleven more fours in an innings of 183 balls before being caught by North on 119.

Graham Swann made 63 before England declared on 373-9 after 95 overs.

This set Australia a mammoth 546 to win. At the end of day three, they were 80-0.
