Ten Games Without A Win For Nuneaton

Nuneaton Town are ten games without a win and rooted firmly to the bottom of the Conference Premier table after a 1-0 defeat at Kidderminster Harriers.

Nuneaton took a good following to Aggborough but they saw Josh Gowling head in a cross in the 89th minute for the only goal of the game.

In a Southern League Premier Division tie, Bedworth United drew 1-1 at Chippenham Town. Former Coventry Sphinx midfielder Arron Donaldson put the Greenbacks ahead in the 40th minute but two minutes from time, the home side levelled through Griffin.

Rugby Town won 2-1 at Uxbridge Town in a Southern League Central Division fixture. Lake-Gaskin put Rugby a goal up in the 28th minute with David Kolodynski adding a second two minutes later. Moore pulled one back in the 62nd minute but VS took the points.

In the Midland Alliance, Stratford Town won 2-1 at Westfields. Jamie Bailiey put Stratford ahead in the 70th minute and five minutes later, Anthony Robinson made it two. Aiden Thomas scored a consolation goal for the Herefordshire side five minutes from time, but Stratford had the points from their trek.

In the Les James Challenge Cup, Leamington Hibernian beat Rugeley Rangers 3-2 after extra time.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Atherstone Town were beaten 2-1 at home by Earlswood and Nuneaton Griff drew 2-2 at Pershore Town.

In the Midland Combination Division Two, Coventry Spartans drew 1-1 with Perrywood but Coventry Spires lost 3-1 at home to Alcester Town.
