Super Sphinx Win At Stanway

Coventry Sphinx played their biggest game in their cup history this afternoon.

Playing at Stanway Rovers from the Eastern Counties League in the Fifth Round of the FA Vase, Casey Caggini equalised for Sphinx in the 73rd minute,two minutes after Stanway took the lead through Ray Turner

Then two goals from Tom Bates in the 83rd and 90th minute., saw Sphinx into the last eight with a 3-1 win.
