Super Leamington And Stratford Hit The Goals

Leamington FC had a 4-0 win over Oxford City tonight at the New Windmill Ground.

The Brakes took the lead after thirteen minutes through Lee Chilton and added a second through Reece Flanagan in the 23rd minute and then a third through Nathan Hicks on his home debut in the 36th minute.

In the second half, Danny Newton scored a fourth in the 65th minute.

Rugby Town drew 0-0 at Aylesbury in a Southern League Central Division game tonight.

Stratford Town thrashed Thatcham Town 7-1 in a Southern League South & Western Division fixture at the DCS Stadium.

Two goals from Chris Sterling had Stratford two goals up by the 19th minute and that was added in the second half with a 25 yard screamer from Trey Brathwaite, Sterling completing his hat-trick with a penalty, Braithwaite chipping the keeper from forty yards in the 72nd minute and a brace for Jamie Sheldon. Romeo scored a stoppage time consolation goal.
