CRICKET
Warwickshire bowled Worcestershire all out for 399 on day three of the County Championship game at Edgbaston.

The game saw Graham Hick pass the 40,000 first class run mark when he scored 49. Hick received good applause from the Warwickshire faithful but was bowled by Dale Steyn in the next ball.

Stephen Moore hit 112 to give Worcs a lead of 52 runs going into the final day.

Meanwhile, Warwickshire have signed Vanghn Van Jaarsveld. The left handed 22 year old batsman has been playing on trial for Mosseley in the Birmingham League and the South African has done enough to earn himseelf a two year contract as a Kolpak player.

In the third day of the Fourth Test at Chester Lee Street, England finished on 121-4 after skittling the West Indies out for 287. Andrew Strauss made 72 for England whilst Shiv Chanderpaul finished not out on 136 for the visitors.

Coventry Bees fixture at Reading tomorrow night has been postponed due to Reading being taken over.

AMERICAN FOOTBALL
Coventry Jets American Football team had a successful visit to Scotland today. Gerry McManus' side won 45-16 at East Kilbride Pirates.

The Jets have nearly a month off before facing the Pirates at home on July 15th.
