Stratford Beaten In Cup Final

Stratford Town suffered a penalties defeat in the Joe McGorian Cup Final.

This annual fixture between the winners of the Midland Alliance League which last season was Stratford Town and the winners of the Polymac League Cup - Loughborough University, attracted a crowd of 102.

Stratford took the lead in the 58th minute through a goal from Gregory but ten minutes later, Emmet equalised and with no further goals, the match went straight to penalties with Loughborough winning them 4-3.
