Stratford Beaten And Alvis Win Coventry Derby

Stratford Town were beaten 4-2 at home by Tiverton Town in a Southern League South & Western division fixture at the DCS Stadium.

Stratford fell behind to a 16th minute James Richards goal and a Michael Nardiello header five minutes later.

Richard Gregory pulled a goal back but in the 73rd minute, Nardiello scored again and then Marcus Martin made it four.

Simeon Tulloach headed in a Craig Fagan pass late on but Stratford were beaten.

Alvis won the Coventry derby 3-2 at Coventry Copsewood tonight. Alvis took a first half lead before Copsewood came back with two goals, the first of which was a penalty.

A close range header drew Alvis level before former Coventry City striker Patrick Suffo, cut inside a defender and fired an unstoppable shot into the far corner of the net to give Alvis the win.
