Storming To A Win

Coventry Storm Speedway Team had a great 56-39 victory over Stoke tonight at Brandon.

Joe Jacobs back in the Storm side and riding at number one was in great form and took the opening heat in a 5-1 win.

A 3-3 was followed by Robert Brandford coming back to grab a point and help the Storm to a 4-2 win.

James Sergent was another rider in fine form and on his way to a maximum, he took the win in heat four for a 4-2, which was followed up with a 5-1 and 4-2 before Sergent took the win in heat seven for a 3-3.

The Storm were now fourteen points ahead and after a 4-2 to Stoke in a re-run heat eight,

Twelve points down, Kyle Hughes had the tactical ride in a 4-4 before two 3-3's saw the tactical ride used again by the visitors. This time, Reade took it and won for a 6-3.

Sergent and Jacobs rode to a 5-1 in heat thirteen and after a 3-3, a good night's work was followed by a 5-1 for Sergent and Jacobs again to see the Storm triumph 56-39.
