Coventry Storm went down to a 42-48 defeat at the Isle of Wight tonight.

Adam Ellis was in brilliant form for the Solent based team, scoring a 21 points maximum from his seven rides.

The Storm drew level with a 5-1 in heat three and took a four point lead wich was eradicated by 4-2's for the home side in heats seven and nine.

It stayed level until heat twelve when Hopwood and Freemantle rode to a 5-1. A 4-2 to the Storm reduced that loss to two points but two 4-2's to the Isle Of Wight in the final two heats meant that the Storm went down to a defeat.
