Storm Lose At Home

Coventry Storm were beaten at home 39-53 by Kings Lynn Young Stars at Brandon.

Joe Jacobs won the opening heat but it was for a 3-3 and this was followed by the visitors taking a 5-1. Jacobs who was a rider replacement won the third heat in a 4-2.

A 3-3 and a 4-2 to Kings Lynn were followed by a heat six which saw Jacobs receive a public warning and then win the re-run heat.

Another 3-3 was followed by a 5-2 for the visitors who were now 27-21 up. That lead extended to ten points with two 4-2's.

Sarjeant took the tactical ride in heat eleven and finished second for a 4-4. Greenwood and Knuckey came back with a 5-1.

However, Kings Lynn took two 5-1's either side of a 3-3. to condemn the Storm to a 53-39 defeat.
