Storm Beaten At Kent

Coventry Storm Speedway Team were beaten 54-39 at Kent tonight.

Steve Boxall who won all of his five rides, won the opening heat in a 4-2 for Kent who then had two 3-3's and a 5-1.

The Storm's Joe Jacobs won the fourth heat in a 4-2 but another 5-1 and a win for Boxall, had Kent 22-14 up.

Two 3-3's, followed by a re-run 4-2 and 5-1 to Kent meant that Joe Jacobs, who amassed 18 points, took the tactical ride in heat eleven.

Jacobs won for a 6-3 and Greenwood won in heat twelve to reduce Kent's lead to nine points but a 4-2.,a 5-1 and a 3-3 gave Kent an easy win.
