Sphinx Learn Cup Draw Oppnents

Coventry Sphinx have been drawn away for their first ever FA Cup tie to Teversal. The club based in the Lower Stoke area of Coventry are entering at the Extra Preliminary Round stage and will play the Northern Counties East Division One side on August 18th.

If they should win, they will host the winners of Nuneaton Griff and Rainworth Miners Welfare in the Preliminary Round at Sphinx Drive on Saturday 1st September.

Other local teams see Racing Club Warwick travel to Oadby Town.

In the FA Vase, Sphinx were given a bye in the First Qualifying Round and will travel to Midland Combination Premier Division newboys Heather St Johns in the Second Qualifying Round on Saturday 22nd September.

Other ties sees first round matches for Coventry Copsewood and Southam United. The Allard Way club are at home to Radcliffe Olympic on September 8th the same day that Southam travel to Lye Town.

If Copsewood win,they will face Rainworth at home. If Southam win, they will face Stone Dominoes at home. Racing Club Warwick will travel to Pershore or Glossop North End whilst Atherstone will travel to Ellistown or Gedling. Nuneaton Griff have been drawn at home to Long Eaton United. 

Sphinx's Youth Team start their FA Youth Cup campaign with a Preliminary Round trip to Stone Dominoes.
