Sphinx Beaten

After this disappointment of losing in the FA Vase Sixth Round Replay against Kirkham & Wesham, Coventry Sphinx were in search of league points tonight in a re-arranged home league game against Barwell.

The final score was a 3-1 defeat for Paul Charnley's side. Jack Cudworth scored in the fifth minute. However, in the second half, Francis scored in the 60th and 85th minutes with a Charley penalty in the 72nd minute to give the visitors a win.
