Speedway world cup final wash out

Tonights speedway world cup final in Poland has been postponed after a period of heavy rain had waterlogged the track, and with no end of the rain in sight the only decision was to call off the meeting.

It will be re-run, weather permitting, tomorrow morning (sunday) at 10am UK time.

Sadly Great Britain were not in the line-up after narrowly losing out to Sweden for second place in last Thursdays eliminator which was also held in Poland. Russia, Poland, Sweden and Australia all make for the prospect of a tightly contested final.
