Leamington FC were made to pay for missing their first chances when they went down to a home 1-0 defeat against Solihull Moors.

A crowd of 548 at the New Windmill Ground on a wet night saw a Brake side without the injured Stefan Moore, have Liam Daly crash a header against the bar inside the opening two minutes.

In an opening forty five minutes of few chances, Jordan Gough cleared a Daly corner off the line for a second consecutive corner.

Marcus Bignot's side were more attack minded in the second half, forcing three corner in the 53rd minute before both sides rang the changes.

In the 78th minute, Omar Bogle went close for the visitors and two minutes later, went even closer when he turned outside of the area and lashed a shot which bounced off Tony Breeden's right hand post.

The home fans, who had been pretty quiet in the second half copuld sense that a goal was coming and in the 86th minute, substitute Gary Birch got down the right and slipped the ball past Breeden to condemn Leamington to a defeat.
