Sixth And Second Place For Crutchlow

Coventry born and based British Superbike rider Cal Crutchlow finished sixth in the opening race of the meeting at Oulton Park this afternoon.



Cal who took the pole, had looked like he was going to win but crashed on lap ten. He got back on his HM Honda Plant bike in eighth place and fought his way up to a sixth place finish.

Tom Sykes won the opening race and also won the second race. Crutchlow did well and finished second with Championship leader Shane Byrne in third.

Byrne leads the Championship with 312 points compared to Crutchlow's 213.
