Seven GP Points For Bees Russian Rider

Coventry Bees rider Emil Sayfutdinov scored seven points in the Danish Grand Prix tonight.

The Russian scored a single point from his first two rides at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen.

In a re-run heat twelve, Sayfutdinov came in second to Rune Holta to collect two points and it was the same in the next heat when he finished second again, this time behind Thomas Gollob to take his tally to gfive points. 

His final ride was in heat eighteen and saw him beaten by Jarek Hampel to end the meeting with seven points.

Former Bees rider Chris Harris who finished third in that heat also have seven points but he had had won two heats and progressed to the first semi-final where he finished last and missed out on a final won in great style by World Champion Thomas Gollob.

The next Grand Prix is the British Grand Prix from Cardiff on June 25th.
