Sanford Series Win For England

Ian Bell hit 37 as England won their second Sanford Super Series fixture against Trinidad & Tobago by one run.

The Coventrian's score of 37 was the second highest total by an English batsman in a total of 141-6 in twenty overs.

In his 37, Bell hit two sixes and one four from 41 balls whilst Kevin Pietersen managed three sixes in his innings of 44.

Andrew Flinttoff took three wickets when Trinidad batted and finished just one run short of England's total.

England play the Sanford Series Allstars on Saturday with the winning team players each picking up around £640k each.
