Emil Saydfutdinov will make his first home appearance as Coventry Bees rider against Eastbourne Eagles tomorrow night (7.30pm).
Sayfutdinov’s had been due to ride against Poole on May 30th but the meeting was postponed and with last Friday's meeting against Kings Lynn also called off, the Russian will ride as number one for Coventry in the meeting which is live on Sky Sports for those unable to get to Brandon in person.
The Bees will also have Przemyslaw Pawlicki and Ed Kennett who have both made it through to the semi-finals of the Grand Prix qualifiers as well as a home debut for new signing Peter Kildemand.
Bees boss Alun Rossiter said to the Bees website: “It will be great to see Emil finally racing at Brandon and I’m sure our fans will give him a great welcome, and we’re also confident that Peter can do the job for us at reserve so it’s two new faces for the home supporters.
“But it’s certainly going to be a very tough match. Eastbourne have had a really good season so far and we have to respect their away record. We will need to be on our game to get all three points.”
