Rugby's Good Run Continues

Rugby Town continued their good run of form under new boss and former Coventry City defender Tony Dobson with a home win this afternoon.

In front of a bumper gate of 340 at Butlin Road, Rugby beat Bedford Town
3-0.

In front of over 2,300 at The Oval in Bedworth, Nuneaton Borough won 2-1 at Bedworth United. Former City youngster David Blenkinsopp was one of the scorers for Kevin Wilkin's side. Marsden got the second.

BGB Southern League Midland Division leaders Leamington beat Bromsgrove Rovers 2-0 whlst Atherstone Town beat Sutton Coldfield Town 3-2.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Coventry Copsewood lost 1-0 at Nuneaton Griff. Ashley Wilks scored the only goal of the game four minutes from time.

Massey Ferguson lost 3-2 at Pershore Town. Harkki and S. Manoochehri scored for the Tractor Makers

Southam United won 2-0 at Knowle with a brace from Shearsby.
