Rugby Town are through in the Red Insure Southern League League Cup after a 4-3 victory over Stourbridge tonight.

Goals from Ward and Griffin had The Glassboys who, seven days ago, were knocking Plymouth Argyle out of the FA Cup, ahead just after the half hour mark.

Gaskin pulled one back for VS before the break but Griffin made it 3-1 to the visitors in the 57th minute.

It was certainly not game over and Keen pulled one back in the 67th minute and in the final minute, Preston equalised before Keen hit the winner for Rugby in stoppage time.
