Coventry Bees rider Adam Roynon has agreed a deal to ride for Sheffield for the remainder of the season.
Roynon, who has been out of league action since suffering head injuries in a crash at Coventry on Good Friday, is set to replace Jake Knight for the Tigers – although his first appearance at Owlerton will actually be in the colours of Dudley in Thursday’s Ozchem Trophy fixture.
Sheffield co-boss David Hoggart said: “We are pleased to have agreed terms with Adam and, subject to the necessary approval, we look forward to working with him.
“Adam has been very unlucky with injuries during his career and deserves a good run. We hope this move will prove to be good for both rider and club.”
