Coventry Bees were in cracking form tonight beating Peterborough 58-34 tonight at Brandon.

Alan Rossiter had Krzysztof Kasprzak back from his meeting in Poland last night and brought Davey Watt in at number five for Chris Harris.

The Pole was third in the opening heat as Lewis Bridger took the win for a 4-2 and it was the same result in heat two.

Ben Barker and Ed Kennett kept former Bees rider Rory Schlein at bay to ensure a 5-1 in the third heat before Heat four which needed four attempts to be run saw a 4-2 victory for the Bees who now led 17-7.

Bjerre took a tactical ride for Peterborough in heat five but with Buckowski falling and being excluded, Barker and Kennett in a cracking race earned a 5-1 victory.

Heat six was another 5-1 victory for The Bees, so Schlein had a tactical ride in heat seven but was behind Davey Watt and got Peterborough's first win of the night 5-3.

Heats eight and nine produced two more 5-1 wins for Coventry, followed by a 4-2 victory, which meant that victory was assured.

Davey Watt who had been injured in Heat Four was forced to retire from the meeting which saw heats 11 and 12 finish 3-3.

Bjerre and Larsen gave Peterborough a 4-2 win in heat 14 and the final heat finished 3-3 to give the Bees a 58-34 victory.
