New Coventry Blaze signing Woo Sang Park scored on his debut in a 4-3 Elite League win against Dundee Stars.

Park from Seoul in South Korea, who had been sampling the delights of steak and kidney pie for the first time, iced in a Blaze side which took the lead on 8.14 when Greg Owen scored a powerplay goal, assisted by Jerramie Domish and Owen Fussey.

That was the only goal of the opening period but on 24.29, Joe Dolan fired Dundee level.

On 25.41, the Blaze fans were on their feet to salute Park when he opened his account with a goal, assisted by Luke Fulghum and Jon Weaver.

Brent Hughes levelled on 34.53 but five minutes into the third period, Coventry went 3-2 up, thanks to Luke Fulghum finding the net, assisted by Matic Kralj and Owen Fussey.

Back came Dundee with Dan Cemen scoring a short-handed goal on 45.23.

Paul Thompson's side raised the game and on 50.11, Mike McLean hit the winner, assisted by Fulghum and Weaver with a powerplay goal.
