Coventry's World Superbikes rider Cal Crutchlow had a retirement and a fourth place in the Misano Adriatico in San Marino today.

The Yahama rider was forced to retire in the opening race won by Max Biaggi who also won the second race beating Brit Leon Haslam.

Crutchlow had a good ride in the second race and took a good fourth place.

The next round is on July 11th in Brno.

Meanwhile, Cal was offered Valentino Rossi's factory Yamaha Moto GP ride for the rest of the season but he turned it down so he could concentrate on the World Superbikes. The ride is the highest profile seat in bike racing.

Yahama have also offered him a ride for their team in the Moto GP for next season.
