Nuneaton Win But Leamington Lose

Nuneaton Town had a great 1-0 victory against Macclesfield Town.

The goal came in the 71st minute when Andy Brown scrambled home.

The Brakes suffered a second successive home loss when Harrogate Town came from behind to beat Leamington 2 - 1.

The Brakes took the lead on 19 mins when Danny Newton clipped the ball over the keeper to register his first goal for the club. Ashley Worsfield equalised in the 35th minute and the Railwaymen took all three points back to Yorkshire when Conor Sellars scored with eleven minutes to go.

Rugby Town drew 1-1 with Kettering Town at Butlin Road in a Southern League Central game. Rugby took a first half lead when Mason Rowley headed in but Kettering drew level and left with a point.

Stratford Town won 4-1 at Didcot Town. Stratford trailed to a sixth minute goal but levelled through Chris Sterling and took the lead with a second half Gregory penalty. Sheldon smashed home a third and a great win was rounded off when Fagan made it 4-1.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Atherstone Town won 3-2 at Pershore Town and Racing Club Warwick beat Bolehall 2-1.

In the Midland Combination Division Two, Coventry United lost 2-0 at Alcester but FC Stratford beat Inkberrow 4-1.
