Nuneaton Up To Fifth

Nuneaton Town moved back into the top five of the Conference Premier Division with a 3-0 home win over Alfreton Town.

Adam Walker sent Nuneaton on their way with a 27th minute header and a crowd of 715 saw a twenty yarder from Dave Hibbert make it two in the 42nd minute.

Two minutes from time, Wes York scored to give Nuneaton a 3-0 win.

Rugby Town won 1-0 at Leighton Town in a Southern League Central Division fixture. Seb Lake-Gaskin scored the only goal of the game.

Stratford Town drew 3-3 with Yate Town at the DCS Stadium.

Yate took a ninth minute lead through Staley but Stratford were level three minutes later thanks to a Chandler own goal. Shelden fired Stratford into a 2-1 lead in the 34th minute but it was all square just before the break when Staley scored again.

In the second half, Haldene score to give Yate a 59th minute lead but in the 71st minute, Stratford were awarded a penalty and Gregory scored to earn a 3-3 draw.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Coventry Copsewood beat Pershore Town 4-3, Southam United won 5-2 at Earlswood Town and Atherstone beat Stafford Town 2-0.
