Nuneaton Through In FA Cup

Nuneaton Town are through in the FA Youth Cup after a 2-1 victory at Daventry Town.

A crowd of 605, saw Nisevic put Nuneaton ahead in the 52nd minute and Danny Glover hit a second in the 80th minute and although the Southrn League side pulled one back through Hicks in the 88th minute, Nuneaton moved into the Fourth Qualifying Round.

However, Stratford Town are out after a 3-2 defeat at Kings Lynn.

Leamington beat Bashley 1-0 with a 29th minute Blythe penalty.

Coventry Sphinx are third in the Midland Alliance table after their 1-0 win at Loughborough and Atherstone beat Tipton 2-1.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Coventry Copsewood beat Brocton 4-0, September's Team Of The Month Racing Warwick lost 3-1 at home to Nuneaton Griff and Southam United lost 1-0 at Bartley Green. 

In the Birmingham Vase, FC Stratford lost 3-0 at home to Woodlands WMC, Leamington Hibernian lost 2-1 at home to Ambleside, Young Warriors won 5-0 at Bell AEI Rugby, Triumph Athletic beat Chelmsley Town 3-0, Bulkington beat Coventry Spartans 2-0, Bedworth Ex Service beat Hampton 3-1 and Alvis won 5-2 at Collycroft Sports.
