Nuneaton Snatch A Draw

Nuneaton Town came back to snatch a 2-2 draw in second half stoppage time at FC Halifax Town.

Kevin Wilkin's side took the lead through Wes York in the fifth minute but before the break, the Shaymen levelled through Dan Gardner.

In the second minute of stoppage time, the home fans in a crowd of 1197, thought that Halifax were getting three points when Ryan Toulson scrambled home but straight from the restart, Nuneaton grabbed a dramatic equaliser through Wes York which moves Boro up to third in the Conference Premier table.

In an FA Trophy Replay, Stratford Town went down to a 3-1 defeat at Coalville. Richard Gregory scored for Stratford, who had Freeman sent off for a second booking, in the 23rd minute.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Nuneaton Griff won 2-0 at Alvis. Harris scored the first in the 31st minute and Webb scored a second in the 43rd.
