Nuneaton Slip Again

Nuneaton Town slipped up today as they went down to a home defeat against Guiseley at Liberty Way.

Nuneaton are now fourth in the Conference North table after Forrest scored the only goal of the game in the 37th minute.

Former Coventry City youngster Rikki Bains scored for Hinckley United in a 4-0 win over Redditch United.

Leamington beat Didcot Town 2-1 with an own goal and a Jamie Williams strike. Morgan Williams scored for the visitors late on.

Bedworth United lost 2-1 at Slough Town. Menies scored a consolaton for the Greenback in the 78th minute after Sonner had scored twice.

A goal from Gourlay in the 73rd minute gave Rugby Town a 1-0 home win over Northwood.

Babbington scored a 16th minute equaliser for Atherstone but they lost 3-1 at Soham Town Rangers.

A crowd of 1800 saw Coalville Town beat Kings Lynn 3-0 in the first leg of the FA Vase Semi-Final at Owen Street. Former Coventry Sphinx striker Jerome Murdock scored twice.

Stratford Town won 6-1 at Alvechurch in a Midland Alliance fixture. Danny Gregory scored four times with Thompson-Brown and Andy Gregory on the scoresheet.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Alveston lost 6-0 at home to Cadbury Athletic, a Benjamin hat-trick helped Massey Ferguson to a 4-2 win over Continental Star, Southam lost 1-0 at Pershore and Racing Club Warwick lost 3-2 at home to Bartley Green. Last night, Nuneaton Griff beat Coventry Copsewood 2-1.

In Division One, Kenilworth Town lost 3-2 at home to FC Glades Sporting.

In Division Two, Young Warriors won 6-2 at Droitwich Spa Reserves but Lemaington Hibernian lost 6-0 at home to Blackwood.

In Division Three, Coventry Amateurs lost 3-2 at home to Inkberrow whilst Alveston Reserves lost 3-1 at J.D.G Alliance.
