Nuneaton Lose, Leamington Abandoned

Nuneaton Town were beaten 3-0 at Luton Town in a Conference Premier fixture.

Andre Gray scored a second half hat-trick.

Leamington FC's Conference North game against Oxford City at The New Windmill was abandoned, following the storm which hit Warwickshire and the West Midlands shortly before kick off.

Rugby Town won 6-2 at Chertsey Town. A brace from David Kolodynski and Seb Lake-Gaskin put Rugby three up at half-time.

Kolodynski completed his hat-trick from a cross from former Coventry Sphinx winger Jamie Towers and it was five thanks to Lake-Gaskin setting up Greg Kaziboni for his first goal for Rugby.

Chertsey pulled one back for Chertsey and when the game restarted after a ten minute delay due to rain, they scored a second but Rugby had the last say when Seb Lake-Gaskin scored from a penalty following a handball.

Bedworth United, Stratford Town's and Coventry Sphinx matches were postponed. With Sphinx's game at AFC Wolfrunians game called off fifteen minutes before kick off.

The storm of thunder and lightening, hail and rain wiped out most matches in the Midland Combination.

In the Premier Division, only Nuneaton Griff's game against Racing Club Warwick was played with Griff winning 3-0.

Coventry Copsewood's game was abandoned with Atherstone, Alvis and Southam's game postponed.

In the Midland Combination Division 2, Coventry United's game against Alcester was abandoned after 50 minutes with FC Stratford, Leamington Hibernian and the Austrey Rangers V Kenilworth games all postponed.
