Nuneaton Lose But Leamington Win

Nuneaton Town went down to a 1-0 defeat at Forest Green Rovers in a Conference Premier Division game.

Kevin Wilkin's side trailed at half-time through a 38th minute Marcus Kelly goal, which was their only chance of the game, whilst Nuneaton, who had 59 fans, had three chances and although Nuneaton had a go in the second half, Kelly's goal was enough to send Nuneaton to defeat.

Leamington FC won their Conference North game at Worcester City 3-0.

At Aggborough tonight, The Brakes took a tenth minute lead through Stefan Moore and scored a second thirteen minutes later through Chilton.

In the 55th minute, Dodds scored a third for The Brakes to round off a good night's work.

In the First Round of the The Doodson Sport Cup, Bedworth United lost 5-0 at Grantham Town. All the goals came in the first half in front of a crowd of 84.

In the same competition, former City youngster Neil Collett kept a clean sheet as his Barwell team beat Coalville 5-0.
