Nuneaton Into The Play-Off Places

Nuneaton Town are into the Conference Premier Play-Off places after a 2-1 victory at Lincoln City.

Kevin Wilkins' side took an eighteenth minute lead through an Adam Walker twenty yarder and in the 58th minute, Theo Streete headed in for a second.

The Imps pulled one back through an Alan Power 70th minute free kick but it was the 78 Nuneaton fans who went home celebrating.

 Stratford Town beat Wimbourne Town 4-2 in a Southern League South & Western fixture at The DCS Stadium.

The visitors took the lead through Davidson but as the rain came down, Gregory levelled with a penalty.

In the 51st minute, a 35 yarder which was wind assisted by ian Oliver saw Wimbourne go back in front only for Sheldon to level again six minutes later.

In the 71st minute, a Gregory free kick had Stratford in front and with two minutes left, the win was completed when Chris Sterling socred for a 4-2 win.
