Nuneaton In The Play-Off Places

Nuneaton Town are looking good for a play-off place after a 2-0 win over Welling United in a Conference Premier.

Andy Brown headed Nuneaton ahead in the 62nd minute and Dave Hibbert wrapped things up with a second in the 87th minute.

Leamington FC drew 2-2 at Oxford City in a Conference North game.

Danny Newton put the Brakes ahead in the 25th minute before Zac MacEachran levelled two minutes later.

Newton scored his and Leamington's second in the 37th minute but in the 61st minute, Oxford City, snatched a draw when on-loan Swindon Town striker Kayden Jackson equalised.

Rugby Town drew 0-0 with Dunstable Town

Stratford Town lost 2-0 at Circencester Town in a Southern League South & Western League.

Davis broke the deadlock with a 65th minute penalty and Mortimer-Jones added a second in the 80th minute.

Bedworth United lost 1-0 at Scarborough Athletic in a Northern Premier League Division One South game.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Coventry Copsewood beat Nuneaton Griff 4-2, Atherstone beat Littleton 2-1, Racing Club Warwick beat Pelsall Villa 2-1 but Southam United lost 3-0 at home to league leaders Brocton.

Coventry United are through to the Challenge Vase Final. United won 2-0 at Barton United in a Semi-Final thanks to a brace from Sean Kavanagh. They will meet Enville Athletic in the Final after they beat Kenilworth Town 2-1.
