Nuneaton Dumped Out Of Birmingham Senior Cup

Nuneaton Town were dumped out of the Birmingham Senior Cup Second Round at Banbury United with a 3-0 defeat tonight.

At the Spencer Stadium, Kynan Isaac opened the scoring in the 27th minute and rounded the keeper to make it 2-0 in the 43rd minute.

The former Aylesbury player continued to give former Coventry City defender Stephen O'Halloran a torrid time and he completed his hat-trick in the 71st minute of a match which saw former City defender David McNamee limp off with a knee injury.

Leamington's Southern League Premier Division game at Chesham United was postponed.

Rugby Town's re-arranged Southern League Central division game did go ahead and saw a 2-1 win which sent Rugby top of the league .

In a game that had to be replayed after the first game was abandoned after a floodlight failure, David Kolodynski was pulled down for an early penalty which Belcher saw saved along with his rebound.

Royston took the lead in the 27th minute through Lockett but just before the break, Rugby levelled through Fazel Koriya. With twenty minutes left, David Kolodynski smashed the ball in from six yards after Palmer's cross/shot to get the win.
