Nuneaton Draw But Leamington Lose

Nuneaton Town were held 1-1 at home by Droylesden this afternoon.

Moore put Kevin Wilkin's side ahead three minutes in the the second half but the visitors came back with Kerr snatching a draw in the 73rd minute.

Former Sky Blue scored for Corby Town in a 1-1 draw at Blyth Spartans whilst also in the Conference North, former Coventry City midfielder Gavin Strachan scored for Hinckley United in a 5-2 win over Stalybridge who led 2-0 with four minutes of the second half gone.

Leamington went down to a 1-0 defeat at Windsor & Eton in front of a crowd of 288. Chennels scored the only goal of the game in the 46th minute.

Bedworth United beat Ashford Town (Middlessex) 2-1 at home with a brace from Blyth in the 14th and 16th minute. Awauh scored for the visitors in the 20th minute.

Atherstone United drew 1-1 at Befont Town. Keen put The Adders ahead in the 63rd minute before Miner equalised in stoppage time.

Rugby Town drew 1-1 at Biggleswade. Preston scored for VS.

In the Midland Alliance, Stratford Town won 1-0 at Heath Hayes.

Midland Alliance Premier Division scores saw a 0-0 draw for Massey Ferguson at Heath Hayes, a 2-1 home win for Southam United against Brocton but a 2-1 defeat for Racing Club Warwick at Pelsall Villa and a 3-2 defeat for Nuneaton Griff at Pilkington.

In Division One, Kenilworth Town won 5-3 at Fairfield Villa. In Division Two, Young Warriors who groundshare at Coventry Sphinx beat Bromsgrove Sporting 5-2 and Leamington Hibernian drew 1-1 with Cadbury Ath Reserves.

In Divison three, Coventry Amateurs were beaten 2-1 at home by Polesworth and Stratford Town A beat Dosthill Colt Reserves 3-2 at home.
