Nuneaton Beaten And Leamington Draw

Nuneaton Town remain in the play-off hunt despite a 1-0 home defeat by Grimsby Town.

The only goal of the game in the eighth minute when Alex Rodman scored from a Thomas cross to delight the 498 Grimsby fans in a crowd of 1585.

Nuneaton are still fourth in the table with 61 points, a point ahead of Grimsby who have four games in hand.

Leamington FC were pegged back to a 1-1 draw at Histon in a Conference North game.

The Brakes took the lead through a 75th minute own goal from Ben Clappison who is on loan from Hull City but Eugene Libertucci equalised in the 86th minute.

Rugby Town beat Egham 3-1 in front of a crowd of 248 at Butlin Road. Greg Kaziboni fired Rugby ahead in the sixth minute with Harkin levelling in the 36th minute and David Kolodynski restoring Rugby's lead two minutes later.

In the second half, Greg Kaziboni was given a straight red for a challenge with the goalkeeper but Rugby kept going and scored a third in the 75th minute through Justin Marsden.

Stratford Town lost 3-1 at Yate Town in a Southern League South & Western game. Tulloch scored Stratford's goal in the 17th minute.

Bedworth United were beaten 3-0 at home by Scarborough in a Northern Premier League Division One South game.

Grant Ryan put the Seadogs ahead in the third minute, with Gary Bradshaw adding a second nine minutes later.

Bedworth had Walters and Degville-Cross sent off both for second bookables before Jordan Thewlis scored a third in stoppage time.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Atherstone beat Coventry Copsewood 2-1, Alvis won 4-3 at Blackwood, Southam United lost 4-1 at Pilkington.

In the Midland Combination Division Two, Coventry United beat Austrey Rangers 4-2, Leamington Hibernian won 1-0 at Badsey Rangers and Kenilworth Town won 5-0 at Enville. FC Stratford lost 5-0 at home to Polesworth.
