Nuneaton And Leamington Draw

Nuneaton Town blew a two goal lead away to Aldershot Town and had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Nuneaton took a 27th minute lead with a goal from Gavin Cowan and James Armson added a second with a 42nd minute penalty when Dave Hibbert was fouled.

But in the second half, Aldershot scored through Josh Scott in the 62nd minute and former Queens Park Rangers player Martin Rowlands snatched an equaliser with eight minutes left.

Leamington FC drew 1-1 with Barrow at the New Windmill. Tom Corner fired Barrow ahead in the 16th minute but the Brakes levelled with a Matt Dodd penalty just before half-time.

Rugby Town won 6-2 at Marlow. In a game of eight goals, there was only three scorers. David Kolodynski fired Rugby ahead in the fifth minute and scored goals in the 37th minute and completed his hat-trick with an 87th minute penalty. Cunif also scored a hat-trick for Rugby with goals in 41st, 62nd and second miinute of stoppage time after Downes had scored in the 57th and 58th minute for Marlow.

Stratford Town lost 1-2 at home to Paulton. Clark put Stratford ahead in the 19th minute but the visitors replied with a 28th minute Williams own goal and a goal from Evans in the 49th minute.

Bedworth United were beaten 4-1 at home by Goole. Jackson, Husbands (2) and McKenzie had already scored when Alando Lewis scored a consolation goal for the Greenbacks in the 79th minute.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Southam United won 3-2 at Coventry Copsewood, Alvis lost 6-0 at home to Bromsgrove Sporting, Atherstone beat Bolehall 4-1 and Nuneaton Griff beat Pelsall Villa 2-1.

In the Midland Combination Division Two, Kenilworth Town won 3-1 at Austrey Rangers, Leamington Hibernian beat Perrywood 1-0 and Coventry United won 2-1 at Northfield Town.
