Nuneaton And Leamington Beaten

Nuneaton Town went down to a 1-0 home defeat to Southport.

The only goal of the game came in the 15th minute with a Stephen O'Halloran own goal in front of a crowd of 779 at Liberty Way.

Leamington were beaten 6-0 at home in the local derby to Barwell. 

A crowd of 552 at the New Windmill saw Barlone open the scoring in the third minute and then convert a 26th minute penalty. Richard Lavery made it 3-0 before the break.

In the second half, Weale hit a fourth in the 67th minute before Hadland hit a fifth in the 86th minute and Lavery completed the rout with a sixth in the fourth minute of stoppage time.

Bedworth United lost 2-1 at Weymouth. Ford scored twice in the sixth and 20th minute before Burnell pulled one back in the second half.

Rugby Town kept up their push for promotion to the Southern League Premier Division with a 2-1 win over Chertsey Town. David Kolodynski scored both goals.

In the Midland Alliance, Joe Halsall hit a hat-trick for Stratford Town who won 7-0 at Ellesmere Rangers. Halsall scored in the 12th and 27th minute to give Stratford a two goal lead at the break. In the second half, Lei Brown scored twice, with Halsall completing his hat-trick in the 67th minute and one for Jamie Bailey in the 81st minute.

Well done to Midland Alliance side Gornal who won 1-0 at Bodmin in an FA Vase Fifth Round Replay with a Lee Wherton goal in the 13th minute.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Nuneaton Griff won 4-0 at Bromsgrove Sporting and Atherstone Town won 3-2 at Racing Club Warwick.
