No Play For Warwicks

Heavy rain at Edgbaston and around the country prevented any play in Warwickshire's Friends Provident game with Ireland.

Both sides took a point from the game which was abandoned as a draw.

Warwicks are due to play Leicestershire in their final FP game at Oakham School tomorrow. However, more rain is forecast and anyone planning on going is advised to check the forecast first.

In the Test Match at Old Trafford, former Warwickshire bowler Daniel Vettori took 5-66 as England were bowled out for 202 on Day 3 of the second test.
Ian Bell made only eight with Tim Ambrose three.

New Zealand went back into bat and were all out for 114-9 as Flynn did not bat, thanks to Monty Panesar taking 6-37.

Chasing 294 to win,England were 76 for one at the close.
