No League Move For Nuneaton And Atherstone

Nuneaton Town and Atherstone Town are not going to be moved into Northern divisions, the FA have confirmed.

Nuneaton have been told that they will play in the Southern League Premier Division next season along with Leamington FC, who were promoted as Midland Division Champions and Tony Dobson's Rugby Town who avoided relegation to say in the division.

This was news that delighted Nuneaton manager Kevin Wilkin. He told the CT's Nuneaton Correspondant Derek Brown: "It's the news we have been waiting for and now we can get down to business and start planning for the 2009/2010 season."

Nuneaton will charge £8 for adult admission next season for league matches with £5 for concessions. Unreserved match day parking will cost £2.

Atherstone Town, who made it to the Southern League Midland Division play-offs, will remain in that division along with Bedworth United.
