The Carvell Coventry Bears completed the double over Derby with a 40-0 home win this afternoon.

Ty Watson's side made the most of the difficult conditions at the Old Coventrians Rugby Ground in Tile Hill and were 28-0 ahead at the break, thanks to two tries from Mark Hyslop and tries from Matt Allsopp, Iestyn Pratt and Nick Thatcher.

Derby held the Bears in the second half until tries from Scott Clendenning Fenton and Tom Shaw took the score to the forty point mark. Graham Healy scored five conversations.

The Bears are at home to Nottingham Outlaws next Saturday. Kick off is at 2.30pm.
