Coventry Bees speedway team have issued the following statement:
"Coventry Speedway apologises to supporters for the delay in providing you with further information concerning the 2011 season.
Owing to this delay, and to ensure that everything is in place for the event, we are unable to stage our press and practice session this Friday April 1, as had previously been reported in the media.
We have now made provisional arrangements for press and practice to take place next Wednesday, April 6, and as usual supporters will be welcome to attend. The stadium will be open to the public from around 5pm when the riders will take to the track, with a press conference and photocall taking place earlier in the afternoon.
We will confirm fixture details as soon as we can, but in the meantime we have extended the deadline for season ticket applications until Friday, April 8.
We thank all supporters for their continued patience."
