New Coventry City Ladies signing Courtney Sweetman Kirk is off to China.
The new addition to the City squad which will play in the Women's Premier League for the first time in the club's history, as been selected for the World University Games Great Britain Squad.
Sweetman Kirk who is at Loughborough University, is part of the squad which will play in the tournament in Shenzhen, China.
The final on August 21st will be at the Shenzhen Bao’an District Stadium.
Great Britain are in Pool A together with hosts China, Canada and Chinese Taipei, Group B consists of South Korea, Russia, Mexico and South Africa, while in Group C there is Japan, France, Brazil and Estonia.
GB first face Canada on August 11th, then Chinese Taipei on the 13th and China on the 15th. The second stage begins 2 days later, with games on August 19th then deciding who will compete for which position on the last day.
