Marvellous Marlon Through To Final

Coventry born runner Marlon Devonish is through to tomorrow's final of the 200m at the European Athletics Championship in Barcelona.

Devonish qualifed in his first heat by winning with a time of 20.68 seconds this morning.

Tonight, the Coventry Walk Of Famer finished second in the second semi-final to Jaysuma Saidy Ndure with a season best time of 20.55 to book his place in tomorrow's final.



Devonish, who qualified along with fellow Brit Christian Malcolm and Ireland's Paul Hession, for the final, will be up against Christophe Lemaitre, who won the 100m on Wednesday.
