Leamington Through In Trophy

Leamington are through to the Fourth Round of the FA Trophy with a 2-1 win at Fisher Athletic. Josh Blake scored both goals.

Nuneaton Borough face a long trek to Workington for a replay after a 0-0 draw at Liberty Way.

Rugby's 1000th game in the Southern League ended in a 3-3 home draw with Merthyr Tydfil. Akin Aladtoun scored twice with Morley on the scoresheet.

In the BGB Midland, a goal from Adam Kinder was enough to give Bedworth United a 1-0 win over Rothwell Town.

In the Midland Alliance, Coventry Sphinx were beaten 3-2 at home by Tipton Town. Kyle Rhodes put Sphinx ahead in the third minute. Tipton scored three times through Bowen,Martin and Givans before Sphinx reduced the deficit with an 89th minute Robbie Stevenson penalty.

Atherstone got a highly creditable 0-0 draw at leaders Loughborough whilst Stratford won 2-0 at Oldbury with goals from Rawlings and Grandison. Racing Club Warwick lost 2-0 at home to Studley.

In the Midland Combination Prem, Southam beat Heath Hayes 1-0 but Nuneaton Griff lost 1-0 at Pilkington.

Score from that Midland Combination Div 1 was Alveston 0-5 West Midlands Police.

In the Midland Combination Reserve Division, Coventry Sphinx Reserves lost 3-2 at Friar Lane.

In the third round of the Coventry Telegraph Challenge Cup, Coventry Copsewood won 8-3 at Chelmsley Town after extra time. Scott Furlong's side were pegged to 3-3 at the end of normal time but netted five times in extra time to progress into Round Four.

Copsewood will be joined by Stockingford who won 3-1 at Triumph but Massey Ferguson are out losing 3-1 on penalties to Dunlop after a 1-1 draw.
